Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi made a surprise visit to the 24/7 NADRA Mega Center in the Blue Area of Islamabad and reviewed the facilities provided to citizens there.
Mohsin Naqvi met the citizens who came to obtain identity cards and other documents. He inquired about the facilities provided to them.
The citizens told the Interior Minister that now there is no need to wait, and their turn comes quickly, while the staff also cooperates fully. The citizens thanked the Interior Minister and the NADRA administration for providing the facilities and said that the situation has improved further under his authority.
The Interior Minister congratulated the shift in-charge and staff of the NADRA Mega Center and directed them to work harder and with the spirit of serving the citizens. He also appreciated the performance of NADRA Chairman Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar and his team.
Mohsin Naqvi visited the waiting area and various counters and met the citizens directly, listened to their problems, and issued orders on the spot for immediate resolution of the problems of the citizens regarding the identity cards.
The Interior Minister also inspected the modern automated machine and observed the automated system by adding identity card number himself and using fingerprints.
On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that he is happy that the citizens are getting services without waiting at the NADRA center, and steps will continue to create convenience for the citizens at every level.
