PM will remain suspended from office until petition is decided


The Constitutional Court suspended the Prime Minister of Thailand over the leaked phone call between Prime Minister Phatthana Shinawatra and the former Cambodian Prime Minister.
According to a foreign news agency, 36 senators have filed a petition against the Thai Prime Minister.
According to the Thai Constitutional Court, the Prime Minister will remain suspended from office until the petition is decided.
Thai senators have accused the Prime Minister of dishonesty and constitutional violation.
Last month, there was a clash between the border forces of Thailand and Cambodia. After the incident, the Thai Prime Minister's phone call to the Cambodian leader criticizing the Thai army came to light.
After the suspension of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister will be the interim Prime Minister of Thailand.
The Thai Prime Minister accepted the decision of the Constitutional Court, saying that she tried to work 100 percent for the country, and she also apologized for hurting the people with her actions.
