New great feature for people using Gmail on Android phones
Company is testing Mark as Read button in Gmail notifications

Keeping Gmail, the most popular email service, under control is not an easy task.
There are many users who have thousands of unread emails in their inbox.
But now a new feature introduced by Google will be helpful for such users.
The company is testing a Mark as Read button in Gmail notifications.
9 to 5 Google reported that this feature is currently available to a limited users in Gmail notifications on Android phones.
A study showed that an average Gmail user receives 10 to 11 emails per day, which is not a lot of money, but when they are ignored, the number of unread emails gradually increases.
Therefore, the Mark as Read button will be for such emails.
This will be a huge benefit to Gmail users on Android phones, making it easier for them to determine which emails need to be opened and read in full, and which should be marked as read without reading.
Doing this in the notification will save them a lot of time that would otherwise be spent opening these emails in the Gmail app or browser.
This feature is already available in the Gmail app for iPhone, while this button is similar to the Mark as Read button in other apps, such as WhatsApp.
It is currently unclear when this feature will be introduced for all users.
