Justice Junaid Ghaffar has been appointed as Sindh CJ, Justice Atiq Shah as Peshawar CJ, and Justice Rozi Khan as Balochistan CJ

Islamabad: A meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan, chaired by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, is currently underway to consider the appointments of Chief Justices for the High Courts of all four provinces and the Islamabad High Court.
during the meeting chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi, the Commission approved the appointment of Justice Atiq Shah as Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court, and Justice Rozi Khan as Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court.
Deliberations are ongoing regarding the appointments of Chief Justices for the Islamabad, Sindh, and Lahore High Courts.
Sources revealed that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah raised an objection during the Commission’s proceedings, stating that a decision should first be made regarding the 26th Constitutional Amendment. Justice Muneeb Akhtar expressed agreement with his stance.
Additionally, two Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members of the Judicial Commission supported Justice Mansoor Shah’s viewpoint. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Law Minister also concurred with Justice Shah’s position.
