According to foreign media reports, 28-year-old Portuguese footballer Diogo Jota has died in a traffic accident in the Spanish city of Zamora.
According to British media, the footballer was in a car with his brother at the time of the accident, during which their car went off the road. The star footballer and his brother were also killed in the accident.
Media reports have said that Diogo Jota married his partner Ruth Cardoso last week, and the couple has three children.
Diogo Jota joined Liverpool in 2020 for a fee of 41 million pounds after saying goodbye to Wolves. In these 5 years, the Portuguese winger played more than 100 matches for the club.
Jota was part of the Portugal team that won the UEFA Nations League final last month.
Furthermore, Diogo also won the English Premier League title with Liverpool.
