'Squid Game 3' achieves record-breaking success on Netflix
New season features more intense games and violent scenes

The third and final season of Netflix’s globally popular Korean series ‘Squid Game’ has set a new record.
According to foreign media reports, the third season of Netflix’s popular Korean series ‘Squid Game’ was released on June 27 and made waves around the world in the first 72 hours.
In just three days, the season was viewed 61 million times, making it the biggest global opening in Netflix’s history.
The series ranked first in 93 countries and became the ninth most-watched non-English language series.
The new season features more intense games and violent scenes than previous seasons, which viewers expressed mixed opinions on. Some described the scenes as closer to reality, while others considered them unnecessarily violent.
According to series director Hwang Dong-hyuk, this time the story revolves around human hope, morality, and difficult decisions, which have been presented in a better way than before.
