ISPR said Colonel Sher Khan sacrificed his life for defense of homeland


Rawalpindi: The 26th death anniversary of Captain Colonel Sher Khan Shaheed Nishan-e-Haider is being observed today (Saturday).
On the occasion of the 26th death anniversary of Captain Colonel Sher Khan, Field Marshal, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), Air Chief, Naval Chief, and the Pakistan Armed Forces paid tribute to the martyr.
In addition, Major General Anjum Riaz visited the martyr’s mausoleum and laid flowers on his grave.
On this occasion, the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said that Colonel Sher Khan Shaheed sacrificed his life for the defense of the homeland by becoming a leaden wall in front of the enemy. He will always be a great example and a source of inspiration for the Pakistani Armed Forces and the entire nation.
The ISPR further said that the sacrifice of Captain Colonel Sher Khan is still alive in the heart of every Pakistani and is a beacon of light for the coming generations. We salute this great hero of ours and renew our resolve to defend the motherland.
