‘America Party has been formed to restore freedom to the people’

Washington: World-renowned business tycoon and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced the formation of a new political party, the America Party, which he claims will bring a revolutionary shift to the American political landscape.
According to a British news agency, Musk made the announcement on his social media platform, X, where he described the party as an alternative to the two-party system dominated by the Republicans and Democrats.
In his message, Musk stated, "We want to choose a new path against a system that has bankrupted our country through waste and corruption. We seek a government that works for the people, not for the interests of the powerful elite."
He further added that the America Party has been formed to restore freedom to the people.
However, as of now, no official details have emerged regarding the formal registration of the America Party, and it remains unclear whether the party has registered with the US electoral authorities. Musk also did not provide any information about the party’s leadership or organizational structure.
Musk’s announcement comes after a long-standing public dispute with US President Trump. Following his resignation from an advisory role, Musk openly criticized Trump’s economic policies and tax plans, leading to strained relations between the two.
Following this announcement, the key question now is whether the America Party will truly succeed in ushering in a new era in American politics. So far, US election authorities have not released any documents confirming the party’s registration.
