West Indies team fails to chase target of 277 runs in their second innings

(Web Desk): Australia defeated the West Indies by 133 runs in the second Test to clinch the series 2-0.
On the fourth day of the second Test played at St. George’s, the West Indies team failed to chase the target of 277 runs in their second innings and were all out for 143.
For the West Indies, Roston Chase was the top scorer in the second innings with 34 runs, while Australia’s Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon took 3 wickets each, and Josh Hazlewood claimed 2 wickets.
Led by Pat Cummins, Australia scored 286 runs in their first innings and 243 runs in their second innings before being all out. The West Indies managed 253 runs in their first innings and 143 runs in their second innings.
Australian batsman Alex Carey was named Man of the Match for his overall contribution of 93 runs in the match.
Australia has won the three-Test series 2-0, having defeated the Caribbean team by 159 runs in the first Test. The final Test of the series will begin on July 12 in Kingston.
