Additional Secretary Syed Ali Asad Gilani welcomed Turkish Foreign Minister


Islamabad: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has arrived in Islamabad to visit Pakistan.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, Additional Secretary Syed Ali Asad Gilani welcomed the Turkish Foreign Minister.
The visiting delegation will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Asim Munir to discuss measures to strengthen bilateral defense cooperation.
It is pertinent to note that last night, Turkish Defense Minister Yasir Govler also arrived in Islamabad on an official visit. This visit reflects the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, Additional Secretary Syed Ali Gilani welcomed the Turkish Defense Minister. Turkish Defense Minister Yasir Govler will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar along with the delegation, while meetings with other senior civil and military officials are also expected.
