Based on registration, Saudi govt will set the Hajj quota


Islamabad: Today is the last day of mandatory registration for Hajj 2026.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 200,000 pilgrims have registered for Hajj so far. The facility of registering online without any fee has been provided while sitting at home. Only those who register will be considered eligible for the Hajj. After registration, pilgrims will be able to choose a government or private Hajj scheme.
Officials say that the expenses and other terms and conditions will be issued separately according to the Hajj policy.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Hajj registration is being done following the instructions of the Saudi Arabian government. Once the Hajj registration is completed, the Saudi government will be informed of the data. Based on the registration, the Saudi Arabian government will set the Hajj quota.
