Islamabad: Pakistan has reached a grim milestone as number of Covid-19 cases has surpassed 1,000,000 mark.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 1,425 cases of coronavirus were reported while 11 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 22,939.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 1,000,034.
As many as 923,472 patients have recovered from the disease with 2,525 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 351,707 in the province with 10,909 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 362,182 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,785.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 141,359 in the province with 4,405 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 29,357 confirmed cases while 321 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 22,592 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 608. On the other hand, there are 7,607 cases in GB with 122 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 85,230 cases in the capital city while 789 people have lost their lives.
