Bitcoin loses 3.6pc after hitting record-high level

ISTANBUL (AA/APP): Following record-high levels on Monday, Bitcoin lost 3.57% on Tuesday. The current price of the largest cryptocurrency, surpassing $123,000 on Monday, is at around $117,300 as of 1200GMT.
According to data from analysis firm CoinMarketCap, the value of the global cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin, fell approximately 3.38% in the past 24 hours, reaching $3.67 trillion.
The price of Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is up almost 25% since the start of this year. The price of Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, dropped by 2.42% in value, rising to $2,978.
