Islamabad: A 5.0 magnitude earthquake felt in Pakistan-Afghanistan border areas.
Tremors were felt in the border areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan, with a recorded magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale.
According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. The earthquake occurred at approximately 11:22 AM, with a depth recorded at 100 km.
Initially, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage due to the earthquake.
