Deceased women were sisters


Karachi: Two women were killed when the roof of a building collapsed in Lyari.
According to police, the incident took place in the Khadda Market area of Lyari, where the roof of the building’s sixth floor came crashing down.
Rescue operations began immediately after the incident was reported, and the injured were shifted to the hospital.
DIG South stated that police initiated rescue efforts at the scene, from where the bodies of two women and three injured individuals were moved to Civil Hospital.
Police confirmed that the deceased women were sisters, and the injured individuals are their daughters.
Meanwhile, hospital authorities also confirmed that two bodies and three injured persons were brought to the Trauma Center.
