Bollywood icon SRK sustains injuries while filming 'King' in Mumbai
Heads to United States for medial treatment

(Web Desk): Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan sustained injuries while filming his upcoming action movie King in Mumbai and has since departed for the United States for further medical treatment, Bollywood Hungama reported.
According to the entertainment website, the actor suffered injuries to his back and muscles during the shoot. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he reportedly underwent surgery.
Doctors have advised Shah Rukh Khan to rest for over a month. While the injuries are said to be non-critical, the actor still opted to travel to the US for more advanced care.
Sources reveal that Khan has had previous issues with back and muscle injuries, which contributed to his decision to seek further treatment abroad.
Following the incident, the production of King—which was underway in Mumbai—has been temporarily halted.
Over the past decade, Shah Rukh Khan has been injured multiple times while performing action sequences, though none of the injuries have been life-threatening. Now 60 years old, Khan continues to star in high-octane action films and is known for performing most of his own stunts, which are often handled by stunt doubles in the industry.
Indian media also reports that his family is already in the U.S., and he is expected to stay there for around two months, with a possible return in September. However, his team has not issued an official statement on the matter yet.
