Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain Sunday said that today Kashmiris, in all constituencies, will support Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision for Naya Kashmir.

On his official twitter handle, the minister wrote, “Elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir give hope to the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) in materializing their dreams”.
He further added that the day will hoped to come when people of whole Kashmir will freely express their views and form a government with their representatives.

It may be recalled that polling is taking place in 45 seats in Azad Kashmir today. In all, there are a total of 32, 50,117 registered voters including 178,800 male and 146,8317 female in 33 electoral constituencies in all ten districts of AJK.
5118 polling stations have been set up in all three divisions including Muzaffarabad, Poonch and Mirpur. While, 830 polling stations are very sensitive while 1269 have been declared sensitive.
Moreover, all 12 constituencies meant for Pakistan-based Jammu & Kashmir refugees who would cast their vote to elect the Azad Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
Over 2.8 million voters have been registered in 33 AJK constituencies and 0.4 million in 12 Jammu Kashmir refugees based in various parts of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Azad Kashmir government has imposed Section 144 from July 24 to 26, banning the entry of unrelated persons.
