PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and PM Shehbaz Sharif express deep sorrow over the passing of senior politician


(Web Desk): PTI leader Hammad Azhar, who had been declared an absconder in the May 9 cases, arrived at his residence to attend the funeral of his father, Mian Azhar.
Hammad Azhar will participate in the funeral prayers of his father, former Punjab Governor and Member of the National Assembly, Mian Azhar, which are scheduled to take place shortly outside Gaddafi Stadium.
Federal Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has arrived once again at Mian Azhar’s residence; she also visited last night to offer condolences. Provincial Assembly members Hafiz Farhat Abbas and Farrukh Javed Moon are also present at Hammad Azhar’s residence.
Other political figures including Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Shaukat Basra, Mehr Wajid, and Abu Zar Salman Niazi are also present at the residence.
President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the passing of senior politician Mian Muhammad Azhar and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
Nawaz Sharif noted that the deceased's father had a long-standing relationship with his own late father, Mian Muhammad Sharif. He offered prayers for Mian Azhar’s forgiveness and strength for the family to bear the loss.
