Indian actress Yashika Aannand critically injured after a car accident
Mumbai: Indian Tamil actress Yashika Aannand has suffered serious injuries after her car met with an accident.
According to Indian local media, the actress who is also a former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant was travelling in car along with her friends when the vehicle met an accident near the area of Mahabalipuram.
Reportedly, her vehicle crashed into the center median and toppled into a roadside pit nearby. Unfortunately, one of her friends died on the spot while Yashika is said to be critically injured.
Over-speeding is said to be the cause of accident.
Yashika Aannand rose to fame for her supporting roles in films like Kavalai Vendam, NOTA and Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. She was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2, hosted by Kamal Haasan.
