Police have registered a case and an investigation is underway

(Web Desk): A policeman was caught red-handed taking inappropriate photos of women in the bathroom of a government hospital in Tehsil Gujar Khan.
The incident took place at the Civil Hospital, where the officer, dressed in plain clothes, was spotted by a citizen while capturing photos of women in the bathroom and other areas of the facility. The citizen immediately intervened and detained the policeman, handing him over to the Gujar Khan police along with his mobile phone.
A case was registered based on a complaint by Bilal Hussain, who stated that he had visited the hospital for medical treatment when he noticed a man suspiciously taking photos of women in the bathroom. Upon checking the suspect’s phone, objectionable photos of women were discovered.
The suspect was identified as Aqeel Abbas, a resident of Rajgaan and reportedly affiliated with the Training Wing of Lahore Police.
Police have registered a case under Sections 354 (assault or use of criminal force on a woman) and 292 (obscene acts and material) of the Pakistan Penal Code, and an investigation is underway.
According to SP Saddar Nabeel Khokhar, the arrested officer is indeed associated with the Training Wing in Lahore. He assured that a full investigation is being conducted and that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in such disgraceful acts.
