Green Shirts defeat hosts Uzbekistan in straight sets 3-0

(Web Desk): The Pakistan U-19 boys' volleyball team has secured its second consecutive win at the World U-19 Volleyball Championship, defeating hosts Uzbekistan in straight sets (3-0).
The thrilling matches of the championship are underway in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. In their latest outing, Pakistan overpowered the host nation with a commanding performance, winning all three sets with scores of 25-23, 25-18, and 25-21.
Among the standout performers for Pakistan were Muhammad Yahya with 24 points, Muhammad Saud with 10, while Mehtab Ali and Ajmal Junaid contributed 9 points each.
The Pakistan U-19 team will return to the court on July 26 for their third match, facing off against Turkey.
It is worth noting that on July 19, the Pakistan U-16 volleyball team made history by winning the Asian Championship. In the final held in Thailand, the young squad triumphed over Iran in a thrilling contest to clinch the title of Asian champions.
