According to GNN, Pakistani weightlifter Talha Talib competed in the 67 kg category at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 on Sunday in which he lifted 150 and 170 kg and prostrated on stage to thank Allah almighty.

Talha Talib’s prostration video went going viral on social networking sites, with observers saying the young weightlifter's success is huge after training at a local gym.

Talha lifted 150 kg in the Snatch while 170 kg in the Clean and Jerk class.

The Gujranwala-based weightlifter was neither professionally trained nor provided with the necessary basic facilities, but his success on the world stage can only be attributed to his dedication and prayers.

Pakistani weightlifter has qualified for the upcoming summer Olympics on an invitational quota.

This is the first time that he will be participating in the Olympic Games representing Pakistan.

The event was also a qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
