Lahore: In Pattoki’s Chowk Jhullar area, unidentified individuals killed a pet monkey in a brutal attack using sticks and bricks.
The monkey’s owner, Abdul Aziz, shared a video on social media, stating that the animal had been with him for four years and was like a member of his family.
He said the incident occurred while the monkey was in the cattle shed, where the attackers crushed its head with stones and sticks.
The family is deeply saddened by the loss.
Despite the seriousness of the act, police registered a case only after four days and have now launched a search to identify and apprehend those responsible for the killing.
