Attock: A family traveling to attend a wedding was swept away by a flash flood while in their vehicle.
According to Deputy Commissioner Attock, Rao Atif, the vehicle was carrying 10 passengers when it was caught in floodwaters.
Following the incident, a rescue operation was launched, and five individuals have been safely rescued, he confirmed. However, two women were found dead, while three others remain missing.
Rao Atif stated that the family was en route to attend a wedding when their vehicle was swept away by the flood. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining missing individuals.
