President Trump announces trade deal with Pakistan, slams India with tariffs
Says United States and Pakistan will collaborate in exploring their vast oil reserves

Washington: US President Donald Trump has announced a trade agreement with Pakistan while simultaneously delivering a major blow to India by imposing tariffs.
In a statement shared on social media, President Trump confirmed that a trade deal with Pakistan has been finalised. He said that the United States and Pakistan will collaborate in exploring their vast oil reserves. The U.S. will take steps to help Pakistan enhance its oil production.
"Perhaps one day, Pakistan might sell oil to India," Trump remarked, adding that the leading company to spearhead this partnership is currently being selected.
President Trump said he is extremely busy finalizing trade deals at the White House. He mentioned that he has held discussions with many countries and that every world leader wants to keep America happy.
It is worth noting that earlier, President Trump once again strongly criticized India, announcing a 25% tariff along with additional penalties.
