Three killed in Nebraska biofuel plant explosion

(Web Desk): Three people were killed in an explosion at a biofuel plant in the US state of Nebraska.

According to American authorities, the explosion occurred in a tower at Horizon Biofuels, causing the plant's roof to blow off.

Reports stated that the tower caught fire following the explosion, but the blaze was quickly extinguished. Images of the incident have also been released.

The report further mentioned that the victims included two children and one employee.

U.S. officials said the cause of the explosion has not yet been determined, and an investigation is currently underway.
