‘Pakistan-China partnership plays a vital role in safeguarding shared strategic interests’

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that the armed forces of Pakistan and China are truly brotherly militaries.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief made these remarks while addressing a ceremony held at GHQ Rawalpindi to mark the anniversary of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
On this occasion, Field Marshal Asim Munir stated that the Pakistan-China partnership plays a vital role in safeguarding shared strategic interests, and that the two militaries are genuine brotherly forces.
He further remarked that Pakistan-China strategic ties are an excellent example of mutual trust.
According to ISPR, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong thanked the Army Chief and said that Pakistan’s military has played a key role in the fight against terrorism.
