All types of protest rallies, use of loudspeakers, and demonstrations are completely banned

Rawalpindi: In view of the possible protest by PTI, strict security measures have been implemented in Rawalpindi, the twin city of the federal capital.
According to the district administration, Section 144 has been imposed in the city until August 10, under which all types of protest rallies, use of loudspeakers, and demonstrations are completely banned.
Heavy police deployment is being carried out in various areas of the city, including Murree Road. Sources say that additional forces will be deployed at sensitive locations such as Marrir Chowk, Liaquat Bagh, Committee Chowk, Rehmanabad, Double Road, and Faizabad, while prison vans will be stationed at various intersections to ensure swift action in case of any emergency.
Checkpoints have been set up at various points on Adiala Road, and traffic heading towards the jail is being thoroughly checked. Heavy police presence has also been deployed at Gate No. 5 of Adiala Jail to maintain law and order.
It is noteworthy that today is also the scheduled visitation day for PTI founder and his wife, Bushra Bibi, due to which security has been further tightened. Officials have stated that no illegal activity will be allowed, and strict action will be taken against anyone violating the law.
