UAE records hottest day of the year at 51.8°C

(Web Desk): A severe heatwave is currently sweeping across the United Arab Emirates.

Like many other countries around the world, the UAE is also experiencing extreme heat.

According to Khaleej Times, on August 1st, temperatures in Sweihan and Al Ain were recorded at 51.8°C, the highest of the year so far.

In addition, the maximum temperature in Dubai reached 45°C.

In light of the intense heat, health experts have advised citizens to take precautionary measures and avoid working in direct sunlight between 2 PM and 4 PM.

Doctors have also warned that the extreme heat can lead to dehydration, heatstroke, and other health complications. Therefore, citizens are urged to avoid going outside unnecessarily.
