(Web Desk): In a move that once again put him in the spotlight, British‑Pakistani social media sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has boldly declared himself the “number one singer in Pakistan,
Ranking celebrated artists Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan at second and third place, respectively”.
The controversial ranking came during a recent podcast appearance, sparking a wave of sharp and often sarcastic responses online. One user quipped, “Atif Aslam, we feel embarrassed hearing this.”
Another remarked, “He pretends to be clueless, but he knows exactly what he’s doing these statements are all for the limelight.”
This is not the first time Chahat has made headlines for his audacious claims. In June 2025, he defended his self-proclaimed title on TV, dismissing critics as jealous and asserting that he doesn't care whether others recognize him as a singer.
Chahat first rose to fame through quirky, self-produced music videos most notably his offbeat rendition of the classic song "Bado Badi" which went viral across South Asian social networks.
