(Web Desk): According to the Meteorological Department, there is a chance of rain in Islamabad, Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan at scattered locations.
The Met Office stated that westerly winds are currently affecting the upper regions of the country, and their intensity is expected to increase from August 17.
From August 14 to 17, heavy rainfall is likely in parts of Islamabad, upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the department, the intensity of moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal is expected to increase from August 17.
From August 18 to 21, widespread heavy rainfall is forecast across the country.
