Wife dies after alleged poisoning by husband in Lahore

(Web Desk): In an area on the outskirts of Lahore, a man allegedly killed his wife by poisoning her with pills after a domestic dispute. The incident took place in the Manga Mandi police jurisdiction.

The woman's family has given a statement to the police claiming that her husband, along with his brothers, would often subject her to violence before ultimately killing her.

According to her family, the victim, Farzana Bibi, was taken to the hospital, where she died during treatment.

Manga Mandi police have registered a case and arrested three suspects: Zahid, Nasir, and Akhtar. An investigation is currently underway.
