(Web Desk): Dozens of people were injured after a 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia’s Central Sulawesi province on Sunday morning.
According to Reuters, the country’s disaster management agency reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, shaking Poso Regency and surrounding areas.
The agency confirmed that 29 people were injured, with two in critical condition.
No fatalities have been reported so far.
Indonesia lies on the Pacific "Ring of Fire", a highly seismically active zone where several tectonic plates meet, making the region prone to frequent and powerful earthquakes.
