Police say an investigation is ongoing, but no arrests have been made so far

(Web Desk): A shooting at a nightclub in New York City left three people dead and eight others injured, according to US media reports.
Police officials stated that the incident occurred at the "Taste of the City Lounge" located in the Crown Heights area of New York following an altercation that escalated into gunfire. Multiple assailants are believed to have opened fire using several weapons.
New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said during a press conference that the shooting followed a dispute, after which one or more attackers fired numerous rounds at the club. “This is a tragic incident in New York City,” she said. Authorities recovered at least 36 shell casings from the scene, and a firearm was found in a nearby alley.
Among the injured are eight men and three women, all of whom were immediately transported to hospitals. Their conditions are reported to be stable. The victims range in age from 27 to 61.
The incident comes at a time when gun violence in New York City is at a record low. Commissioner Tisch noted, “We’ve seen the fewest shootings and shooting victims in the first seven months of the year.”
