Islamabad: In a significant step towards bolstering Pakistan's industrial landscape, the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to collaborating with the auto sector.
Addressing the Auto Parts Manufacturers Summit 2025 as the Chief Guest, Khan emphasized the government's determination to implement bold structural reforms aimed at achieving long-term economic growth.
The summit, themed "Excellence in Engineering," brought together industry stakeholders to discuss innovation and strategies for advancing Pakistan's economic future. Khan highlighted trade liberalization, fiscal discipline, and privatization as key drivers of sustainable growth, underscoring the auto sector's pivotal role in exports, job creation, and industrial development.
The Coordinator assured participants that their concerns would be addressed and pledged to work closely with stakeholders to formulate policies that enhance the industrial base, increase export competitiveness, and elevate Pakistan's global standing. This commitment comes as the country seeks to break the cycle of economic instability and foster a more robust industrial framework.
