Meta launches AI translation tools for Facebook and Instagram users
These tools were announced by the company in 2024, and they are now being officially rolled out

(Web Desk): If you struggle with speaking or writing in English but want to post in that language on Facebook, Meta's new tools could be helpful.
Meta has introduced new AI-powered translation tools for Facebook and Instagram users that will allow user-generated content to be translated into different languages.
These tools were announced by the company in 2024, and they are now being officially rolled out.
The goal of these tools is to give users who speak different languages the ability to make their videos and reels accessible to a global audience.
Currently, the tools support English and Spanish, meaning users can convert English reels into Spanish or vice versa with a single click.
According to the company, support for more languages will be added soon.
One feature will be exclusive to Facebook users, allowing them to add multiple audio tracks to a single video so that it can reach audiences in various languages.
Additionally, video uploaders will be able to use an AI lip-sync feature so that viewers don’t feel the video is dubbed or in a different language.
According to Meta, this feature will ensure that the mouth movements in AI-edited videos match the translated audio, creating a more natural viewing experience.
Meta also plans to introduce a feature in the future that will enable real-time conversations between people speaking different languages, powered by AI.
