Iranian Army Chief, Field Marshal Munir reach agreement on securing shared borders
Both sides agree to eliminate terrorism along their shared borders and ensure their security

Rawalpindi: Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir received a telephone call from the Iranian Army Chief, Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi on Tuesday.
According to a statement issued by the Iranian Embassy, both sides agreed to eliminate terrorism along their shared borders and ensure their security.
The Iranian news agency reported that Major General Mousavi expressed solidarity with the flood-affected people of Pakistan, saying that Iran would take pride in extending every possible support to its Pakistani brothers within its capacity.
He also expressed satisfaction over Iran–Pakistan bilateral relations, noting that both countries are strengthening communication and cooperation across various fields.
