Price of a 20kg bag of flour rose by Rs300 in Karachi, Larkana, and Khuzdar

(Web Desk): Flour prices have surged once again across the country, with the price of a 20kg bag increasing by up to Rs300 over the past week.
According to the latest data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), residents of Karachi are currently paying the highest prices for flour in the country, where a 20kg bag has reached up to Rs2,100.
PBS documents show that in the past week, the price of a 20kg bag of flour rose by Rs300 in Karachi, Larkana, and Khuzdar, while in Hyderabad and Sukkur, the increase was up to Rs280.
In Quetta, the price rose by Rs210, while in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Bannu, and Multan, it increased by Rs200, with a 20kg bag now being sold for up to Rs2,000 in the capital.
In Sargodha, the price jumped by Rs160, while in Lahore, the 20kg bag became Rs120 more expensive, reaching up to Rs1,720.
Meanwhile, in Bahawalpur, the increase was Rs166.66, and in Gujranwala and Sialkot, flour prices rose by Rs83 during the week.
