19-day certificate course on applied biomedical artificial intelligence concludes
Course is expected to pave way for long-term collaboration and innovation in Biomedical Artificial Intelligence in Muslim world

Islamabad: The 19-day joint certificate course on Applied Biomedical Artificial Intelligence, organized by the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Ningbo University, China, has concluded at the COMSTECH Secretariat.
Course Participation, Over 350 participants from 35 OIC member countries and other parts of the world successfully completed the course, participating both physically and online.
COMSTECH Coordinator General, Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, thanked the experts from Ningbo University, particularly Academician Prof Dr Zhao, Prof Dr Liu Xinmen, Prof Dr Yu Zong Chen, and Dr Wang.
Dr Shahid Mahmood, Advisor COMSTECH, praised the distinguished experts from Ningbo University for their valuable contributions to the course.
Participant Feedback, Dr Huda Sarwar, Faculty Member, Rawalpindi Women University, said, “This program was extremely useful and comprehensive. I learned important topics like Word Embedding Techniques, Biomolecular Encoding, and CNNs for Biomedical Data, which will be valuable for my future research”.
Certificates were distributed to the participants in Islamabad, while digital certificates were issued to those who participated online.
The course, featuring lectures and training sessions by renowned scientists from Ningbo University and COMSTECH, is expected to pave the way for long-term collaboration and innovation in Biomedical Artificial Intelligence in the Muslim world.
