Summit promises to be significant event, shaping future of regional cooperation

Beijing: The final meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States concluded in Beijing, ahead of the SCO Summit scheduled for today in Tianjin, China.
Senior representatives from the SCO's ten member states agreed on a substantial package of documents that will be presented for consideration at the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State. These documents cover key areas of cooperation within the organization.
Improvement of SCO activities are strategic decisions will be made to enhance the organization's effectiveness.
International Authority: Further strengthening of the association's international authority is a top priority.
The meeting aimed to finalize preparations for the SCO Summit, where leaders will discuss multifaceted cooperation and strategic directions for the organization. Previous meetings of the Council of National Coordinators have focused on similar objectives.
