Lahore: Director General (DG) Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab, Irfan Ali Kathia, says that the next 24 hours are very important for Multan.

Speaking to a private news channel, he stated that this is not the first time that unexpected rain has occurred in Gujarat, and there are difficulties in rescue due to the rains in Gujarat.

The DG PDMA added that due to the flood situation in the three rivers, 1.3 million acres of agricultural land are underwater. 4,000 villages in Punjab have been affected by the flood.
