Many settlements are underwater due to floods in Bahawalnagar


Islamabad: India has informed Pakistan about the release of floodwaters.
According to the details, the Indian High Commission has informed Pakistani authorities about the release of floodwaters by India.
After receiving the information from India, the Ministry of Water Resources issued a flood alert in this regard.
Officials say that due to the water rails coming from India, there is a high level of flooding in the Harike and Ferozepur lower reaches of the Sutlej River.
On the other hand, after the increase in the flow of water in the Sutlej River, many more villages and settlements of Arifwala tehsil have come under water.
In addition, many settlements are underwater due to floods in Bahawalnagar, and there are also a large number of children in these settlements.
