In the past 24 hours, 87 more Palestinians have been martyred in Gaza
(Web Desk): The Israeli military has claimed full control over 40% of Gaza City.
Israeli army spokesperson Brigadier General Effie Daffrin stated that Operation Rising Line has now entered an offensive phase, targeting tunnel networks and weapon stockpiles.
The Israeli military has adopted a strategy of continuous bombardment, which has forced many Palestinians to flee their homes and refugee camps.
However, thousands of Palestinians still remain in the area, refusing to leave their land and Gaza despite evacuation orders issued by the Israeli forces.
Brigadier General Daffrin said, “We are continuing efforts to destroy all of Hamas's infrastructure. As of Thursday, we have taken control of 40% of the area.”
In the past 24 hours, 87 more Palestinians have been martyred in Gaza, including 44 deaths reported in Gaza City alone.
The United Nations agency UNICEF has described the situation in Gaza as "unimaginable."
