Threads launches text expansion feature with 10,000-word limit
In addition, Threads is also working to make it easier to link to other sources within these posts

(Web Desk): Social media platform Threads has officially launched its new text expansion feature.
Using this feature, users will now be able to add up to 10,000 words to their Threads updates.
To access this new option, Threads has introduced a new icon in the post composer. Tapping this icon opens a blog-style editor where users can write extended content.
This additional text will be included in the post and can be read via a "Read More" prompt.
In addition, Threads is also working to make it easier to link to other sources within these posts.
According to the company, if users are sharing content from other platforms on Threads, they will now be able to include full content links directly within the main post text.
