A high flood level is also expected at Guddu Barrage on September 7 in the Indus River

(Web Desk): The Meteorological Department has forecast that rainfall may begin on Sunday evening or night in the outskirts of Karachi, and urban flooding is likely in Karachi and various districts of rural Sindh under the monsoon system until September 10.
According to the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure system is currently present over western Madhya Pradesh, which is expected to move west and northwest, reaching Rajasthan and adjoining areas of Sindh.
Due to this system, strong monsoon winds are likely to enter the eastern parts of the province, with rain expected in Karachi's outskirts on Sunday evening or night. In the coming days, this system could lead to urban flooding in several areas.
Starting Saturday evening, thunderstorms with gusty winds and rainfall are expected in rural Sindh districts including Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Khairpur, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Matiari, among others.
Additionally, the Meteorological Department reported that moderate to heavy rainfall is likely in Dadu, Larkana, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Sukkur, Jacobabad, and Ghotki between September 7 and 10. A high flood level is also expected at Guddu Barrage on September 7 in the Indus River.
