‘Russia launched 805 drones and 13 missiles in a single night’

(Web Desk): For the first time since the war began, Russian drone and missile strikes have targeted a central government building in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, setting fire to its roof and upper floors.
According to international news agency Reuters, Ukrainian officials stated that Russia launched 805 drones and 13 missiles in a single night. Of these, 751 drones and four missiles were intercepted by Ukraine’s air defense systems.
Debris from downed drones also fell on residential buildings across several districts in Kyiv, sparking fires and causing partial collapses in multiple structures.
The attack claimed the lives of three people, including an infant, a young woman, and an elderly woman, while 18 others were injured, including a pregnant woman.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko remarked, “We can rebuild buildings, but we cannot bring back lost lives. The enemy targets our civilians every day.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also condemned the Russian attacks and appealed to the international community for urgent assistance.
He stated, “Russia is deliberately targeting civilians. This is terrorism, and the world must act immediately to stop it.”
