Punjab health minister says COVID vaccination campaign apace in five cities
Lahore: Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid Wednesday reviewed the COVID positivity ratio and progress of vaccination in the Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner office.
Additional Deputy Commissioner gave an update on measures to control coronavirus and door to door vaccination campaign being carried out in the division.
The Health Minister said, "Vaccination of maximum people shall be ensured in five megacities Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala and Faisalabad by 14th August. A target of 70 % vaccination has been set in Rawalpindi.”
She added while saying that “I urge people to follow SOPs due to the increase in cases. The target of vaccination shall be achieved. We are trying to vaccinate more and more people through the door to door vaccination.”
