Security forces have killed 80 infiltrators in North Waziristan and Bajaur in few weeks


Peshawar: Government officials say that there are more than 8,000 Fitna-ul-Khawarij terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who take refuge in the general population and attack the forces.
According to government officials, Fitna-ul-Khawarij have come to Pakistan from Afghanistan through unknown routes. More than 8,000 terrorists are in Peshawar, Tank, DI Khan, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Swat, Shangla, and Zam districts, while more than 800 terrorists are in Bajaur and Khyber.
Government officials say that the terrorists also set up checkpoints on the CPEC road, DI Khan to Bannu and Tank. The terrorists take refuge in the general population and attack the security forces, due to which the security forces face difficulties in retaliating. The forces have also suffered casualties due to problems in retaliating.
Officials say that in jirgas chaired by the Chief Minister KP, tribal elders were unhappy about the infiltration of terrorists from Afghanistan. Tribal elders demanded that the Chief Minister raise the issue of infiltration with the Afghan government.
According to government officials, security forces have killed 80 infiltrators in North Waziristan and Bajaur in a few weeks.
In this regard, IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed, said that they are aware of the presence of Fitna al-Khawarij and terrorist activities in KP. Several Khawarij have been killed in DI Khan, Lakki Marwat, Bajaur, Waziristan, Khyber, Bannu, and Dir, while 39 Khawarij were killed and 110 were arrested in 190 operations last month.
IG Zulfiqar Hameed stated that he has taken strict notice of the roadblocks being set up by Fitna-ul-Khawarij and has started patrolling the CPEC day and night in collaboration with the Motorway Police.
On the other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Saif has said that the terrorists are coming from Afghanistan and they are being fought against. The government and law enforcement agencies are fighting the Fitna-ul-Khawarij with determination.
