Iran Air Tour will operate first direct flight to Islamabad


Islamabad: Direct flights between Pakistan and Iran have started, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Reza Amiri Moghadam officially announced.
Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam says that the air agreement between Iran and Pakistan has been successfully concluded. The agreement was made possible due to contacts, especially the recent visit of the Iranian President. He thanked the government of Pakistan for its cooperation and facilitation.
The Iranian ambassador stated that Iran Air Tour, a leading Iranian airline, will operate the first direct flight to Islamabad, which will strengthen tourism and people-to-people ties between the two countries and will also help in further strengthening business relations.
He congratulated the people, tourism professionals, and business circles of both countries.
Reza Amiri Moghadam hoped that direct flights will promote tourism more than ever, and Iranian citizens will enjoy the beautiful scenery and hospitality of Pakistan.
