Ahmed Shehzad distributed relief items to flood victims in Kamalia

Islamabad: Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi says that governments should focus on serving people, not business.
Addressing an event in Islamabad, Shahid Afridi said, “I have personally witnessed the suffering of mothers, children, and animals during the devastating floods”.
He stated that he saw children and animals forced to drink water from the same place and saw people walking 10 kilometers to fetch water in pots.
Shahid Afridi appealed to meet the flood victims, hug them, and help them in this difficult time.
He added that he speaks less and works more. ‘At the beginning of my cricket career, I used to play for myself, but there comes a time in life when we have to stand up for others, and now we have started this journey’.
Shahid Afridi further said that he urges everyone to join him in helping the flood victims.
On the other hand, national cricketer Ahmed Shehzad distributed relief items to flood victims in Kamalia.
After distributing relief items, Ahmed Shehzad stated that the recent floods have caused a lot of destruction.
He added that the services of the Pakistan Army and rescue are commendable in this hour of trouble.
Ahmed Shehzad further said that we all have to play a role in the rehabilitation of the victims after the floods.
